Founded on Care
When Hans Demant founded Oticon in 1904, he was driven by a desire to try to help his hard of hearing wife and others like her. His son William and wife Ida Emilie created what later became known as the Oticon Foundation. The foundation sponsors publications, conferences and campaigns for researchers, hearing care professionals and the general public.
